Baltimore, MD: The Johns Hopkins Hospital Pay Grade: RO The Nurse Practitioner works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate care to both well and/or ill patients. The Nurse Practitioner educates patients and/or intervenes in acute or chronic illness. The Nurse Practitioner practices within the guidelines of the unit department, and institution and in accordance with the Nurse Practitioner- Physician Written Agreement required and approved by the State of Maryland. The Nurse Practitioner is granted affiliate staff privileges by the Johns Hopkins Hospital Medical Board; these privileges list specific tasks and are reviewed annually. Nurse Practitioner (ICU) works within a designated ICU unit. Nurse Practicitioner (specialty) works in the following designated areas - cardiology, cardiac surgery, transplant, neuro-inpatient, emergency department. Acute Care NP required.
