This product manager will be responsible for our Public Sector applications, building meaningful & modern tools for government clients that help them fulfill their important mission of serving the public.As Product Manager, you will become a product expert with Vlocity's Public Sector Apps, set product direction, and work closely with the Engineering and Design teams to define and deliver products on deadline. This role will focus on building applications for a range of government clients and requires effective and dynamic communication skills.You are experienced and comfortable defining and prioritizing product requirements. Familiarity with the Agile software development methodology is a plus. You will work with customers to identify necessary features and enhancements to our applications. You will be responsible for articulating the Vlocity product vision and roadmap in support of our sales efforts.Prior experience working with Salesforce.com or CRM applications is a plus.Our San Francisco offices are modern, collaborative and just floors away from our key sales partner, Salesforce.com. We are building leading enterprise and mobile software and a great company at which to work.Responsibilities:Understand customer needs and capture customer requirements in order to develop high-quality products that address these needs.Lead daily stand-up meetings with design and engineering that incorporate Agile product development techniques.Work with design and engineering teams to plan, organize and deliver product releases on-time. This includes product specifications, QA test plans, and release documentation.Work closely with client services to understand customer needs and translate use cases into crisp, detailed, frequently updated user profiles and product feature stories.Research competitive product offerings and identify ways to differentiate our solution.Create compelling product demonstrations and useful collateral.Bias to making those around you successful and comfort working as a team player and mentor.Contribute to building a positive, can-do, high-performance culture.QualificationsUS Work Permit required.Stellar academic background, Bachelor degree or equivalent experience requiredAt least 3 years of experience in product management, developing technical product requirements and working closely with Engineering & Design teams to deliver product releases on schedule.Industry domain experience in Public Sector, including security requirements such as FedRAMP, is a big advantage.Experience working with the Salesforce.com Sales or Service Cloud Apps, or a similar leading CRM application is a strong plus, but not required.Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.
