The Sales Representative 2 is responsible for developing pipeline sufficient to meet annual revenue goals. Maintains relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential accounts in the Quest Software CIV 3 Territory (DHS, HHS, VA, DOE, GSA, DOJ, SIs). Generate revenue by selling Quest products to new and current users within the territory over the phone and through face to face contact where necessary. Will also be responsible for Renewals in the territory for 2017. Interfacing and establishing relationships with strategic partner's field sales counterparts, customer end users, and purchasing contacts Pipeline development and management, forecasting and driving top opportunities to closure Establishing and managing execution of goals including # of opportunities, outbound calls, face-to-face meetings, etc. Communication of activities and opportunities to key stakeholders Makes outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell products and services Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales orders for orders obtained Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries Manages Support renewals Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accountsOther related duties as assignedKnowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2+ years of sales experience (Preferably in product and IT) Experience with government sales preferredSkills and Abilities Reseller experience strongly desired Knowledge of GSA Schedule and government contract vehicles strongly desired Accurate and reliable forecasting experience Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent problem solving skills Ability to work independently Knowledge and ability to use various software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Strong customer service skills Ability to complete multiple tasks within critical deadlinesBasic Math skills EOEDLT is an Equal Opportunity Employer and treats all employees and applicants for employment without unlawful discrimination as to race, creed, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation or citizenship status in all employment decisions, including but not limited to recruitment hiring, compensation, training and apprenticeship, promotion, upgrading, demotion, downgrading, transfer, lay-off and termination, and all other terms and conditions of employment..
