Under the supervision of an RN, provides technical support to the Operating Room team including anticipating surgeon's instrumentation and equipment needs, set-up and take-down of operating rooms and equipment, restocking of supplies stored in hub, and instrument maintenance. This Core Tech will also be responsible restocking supplies and staging OR cases to facilitate room turnover. 40 hours per week Rotating Shift 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Working 7:00AM-3:30PM / On call 7:30AM-7:30PM or 7:30PM-7:30AM Work High school graduate or equivalency. Completion of a Surgical Technologist training program including clinical experience. We are offering a $2,500.00 sign-on bonus for experienced Surgical Technologist. Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Surgical Technologist. Current and previous Howard County General Hospital and/or Johns Hopkins Affiliate employees are not eligible.
