The Marketing Manager will be a member of the marketing team responsible for developing and executing key aspects of the marketing and promotional plans for the Companya€ (TM) s initial suite of products a€" BlueStar - Diabetes. He or she will be expected to build effective working partnerships across functional departments within the company and across all vendor/agency partners. Specific responsibilities will vary based on the phase of the product life cycle and size of the marketing team but will include interpreting and acting upon market and competitor analysis, providing strategic input, tactical implementation, and budget management for their specific areas. The Manager must be able to work, with a degree of ambiguity and with speed, maintaining an open and flexible attitude while driving towards the brands objectives and goals.Key Job Activities:Contribute to the brand strategy, positioning, messaging and identifyIdentify and then interpret critical primary marketing research and secondary dataDevelop and execute their assigned tactical promotional budgetsMost important tactical engagement: Digital strategy including: website development; SEO/SEM; social media strategy and execution and analytics for all digital programsDevelop high quality material for internal teams (eg sales force, patient integration, market access)Create innovative promotional campaigns and programs for their key customer segments including (eg professionals, patients, payers a€" health plan and employers)Work with cross-functional areas such as Sales, Market Access, Clinical, Product, Operations, Strategy Regulatory, Legal, and FinanceManage and integrate companya€ (TM) s external agency partners / vendors day-to-day activitiesProvide other marketing support as needed such as market research project management, forecasting or analysis, customer support developmentExperience/Knowledge: 3-5 yearsa€ (TM) experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or digital health industry with a basic knowledge of the industry and its various segments and channels. Must have a general understanding of core marketing concepts, a demonstrated ability to lead and manage through others and to manage specific budgets. Knowledge or experience in diabetes, market access channels and/or consumers strongly desired. Product launch experience and ability to manage vendors and agencies desired is required.
