Project Control Analyst Apply Save Job Print Location: HERNDON, VA Open Date: 2/24/17 Close Date: 2/24/18 Description This position supports the Project Control and Finance Analysis functions, including planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting across the project life cycle. Responsible for coordinating with the program teams to develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs), cost and schedule baselines, and Estimates at Completion (EACs). Work closely with program management to review current and future project status performance. Responsible for monitoring cost and schedule performance, completing related analysis and preparing briefs for internal and external customers. Serves as the interface with members of Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Pricing, Procurement, and Accounting Departments. a€ cents Forecast costs with detailed cost variance analysisa€ cents Cost management for assigned projects with tracking of actual expenditures, incurred costs and commitments a€ cents Preparation and analysis of weekly project status report.a€ cents Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. a€ cents Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure appropriate allocation of cost. a€ cents Identify trends and developments through analysis and present findings to senior management. a€ cents Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal projects. a€ cents Prepare project status with variance analysis for Senior Management and Project Management. Minimum Requirements a€ cents Bachelora€ (TM) s degree in business related field from accredited institution.a€ cents Three to five (3-5) years of cross-functional experience in finance, accounting, or related technical operation discipline.a€ cents Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.a€ cents Effectively work and communicate with internal and external customers. a€ cents Candidate shall be detail orientated and demonstrate the ability to manage time effectively.a€ cents Must have a working knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel and Word programs. a€ cents High proficiency in price modeling and data analysis in MS Excel.a€ cents Must convey strong organizational, verbal, written and analytical skills Desired Requirements a€ cents Project Control, Program Finance, and Pricing experience.a€ cents Experience in US Government contracting.a€ cents Experience across the entire spectrum of USG contract types as well as commercial pricing experience.a€ cents Earned Value Management (EVM).a€ cents Experience using MS Project or similar system for resource planning. .
