The candidate will provide support to the branches, members and other teammates on problem resolution for all deposit products and functions.It is critical for the candidate to have a willingness to understand the operational impact of new products and services as well as assist in designing and implementing new deposit administration processes.Under the direction of the Deposit Servicing Team Leader, the person in this position is responsible for performing posting, balancing, account maintenance functions according to established policies and operating procedures, and doing so with accuracy. Other responsibilities include preparing and processing appropriate notices and/or other required documentation, and servicing inactive, dormant, and escheat accounts.a€ cents Provide operational support and build a strong partnership with our Branch and eService departments.a€ cents Perform backend maintenance, account servicing and error corrections. a€ cents Analyze and correct deposit nona€post entries. a€ cents Process NSFs for return or payment. a€ cents Update deposit rates on the core processing system. a€ cents Complete tickets and journal entries for account transfers and adjustments. a€ cents Place and remove stop payments and holds on accounts.a€ cents Open and close deposit accounts. a€ cents Audit coding of new and existing deposit accounts. a€ cents Issue CD interest/redemption checks. a€ cents Address member concerns in a professional and timely manner that maintains and expands relationships.a€ cents Monitor money market and savings accounts for excessive activity per Regulation Da€ cents Review dormant/Inactive accounts daily.a€ cents Process research requestsa€ cents Provide Core System support, Product Support and answer FAQs.a€ cents Maintain current knowledge of all Credit Union products and services. a€ cents Monitor/analyze various reports. a€ cents Assist with implementing procedures for deposit processes and products. a€ cents Maintain internal DDA reconciliations. a€ cents Perform deposit account research and reporting. a€ cents Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory procedures and adherence to compliance guidelines.a€ cents Complete assigned special projects. a€ cents Assist with various back office duties. a€ cents Maintain confidentiality of Member account information.a€ cents Follow established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests. Requirements QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Credentials and Experience Requires a minimum of 3 years credit union/banking experience or experience in a similar role, college degree or equivalent professional experience, knowledge of Credit Union Policies and Procedures relating to deposit operations, and knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to the Bank Secrecy Act and Right to Financial Privacy Act.SkillsDetail oriented, PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and Credit Union systems, good math and bookkeeping skills.Language SkillsStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills; demonstrates the ability to use discretion, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with members and co-workers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Reasoning AbilityGood judgment, strategic, and multi-dimensional thinking skills.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
