Account Executive Washington, DC Job Title: Account Executive IDepartment: Personal Insurance Reports to: Director, Global Product DevelopmentFLSA Status: ExemptPrepared Date: February 9,2017Requisition #: 17-0002Location: Washington, DC SUMMARY:Contribute towards the delivery of Personal Insurance business objectives through the execution of sales strategy by handling inbound and outbound contacts with existing and potential customers. Identify customer needs and consult on the appropriate foreign/domestic, property/casualty and life/health product to meet those needs. This position requires managing a significantly high volume of inbound phone calls and emails.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes, but not limited to):Responsible for inbound and outbound sales;Retain and sell new business to existing customersDevelop new prospects and turn them into long term customersService and manage existing accountsRespond to complaints and satisfactorily resolve issues in a timely mannerAdhere to company service standards and protocols by consistently meeting department and personal sales goalsResponsible for reviewing all new business applications, collecting new business premiums and collecting on aged receivablesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelora€ (TM) s degree or equivalent years of experienceMinimum of two years of customer service experienceMinimum of one year of proven insurance sales experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and understand insurance policiesIntermediate proficiency with MS Office and ExcelPREFERRED QUALIFACTIONS:Willingness to learn and grasp new productsOrganizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-taskCall center experienceInsurance experience is a plus.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:Must obtain Property & Casualty License and Life & Health License within 2 months of employment.TO APPLYPlease send a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org; include a€œAccount Executive Personal Insurancea€ in the subject line of the email. .
