Johns Hopkins Medicine has created an extensive clinical delivery system throughout Maryland and Washington, DC, whereby it seeks to leverage the collective expertise and experience of the Johns Hopkins faculty and staff to penetrate strategic market areas as well as oversee existing external pediatric program relations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development and Strategy for Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Administrator of Pediatrics for Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Assistant Director of Pediatrics Program Development is responsible for the management of pediatric clinical program development for the JHM clinical delivery system throughout Maryland and Washington DC and operational and financial oversight for certain external pediatric programs as defined by the Administrator of Pediatrics. The Assistant Director of Pediatrics Program Development will be responsible for: 1) proposal development for pediatric clinical programs at JHM delivery sites; 2) manage individual Project Groups analyzing pediatric clinical development opportunities including the following components: market analyses, feasibility and due diligence studies, and financial modeling; 3) integration with Johns Hopkins Medical Management Corporation for the oversight of space allocation, lease development, property management, and construction management for ambulatory facilities; 4) coordinate strategic planning initiatives and seek out new pediatric opportunities for health care and surgery centers, as well as the JHM clinical delivery system as a whole; 5) collaborate with senior leadership from JHM entities to pursue and implement pediatric clinical program growth initiatives; 6) manage relationships between JHM entities with the goal of achieving clinical integration that ensures patients timely access to services; 7) develop strategic partnerships and joint ventures with external parties, and 8) operational and financial oversight and reporting for external pediatric programs as determined by the Administrator of Pediatrics.Day Shift Work Minimum Requirements: Masters Degree in Business or related field preferred. Health Care concentration preferredMinimum five years experience in Project Management and/or Business and Financial Planning as well as program development in an academic medical center or major corporate intuition.
