Research Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative and rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Develop modeling and measuring techniques and apply mathematics, statistical and engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, including linear programming, game theory, probability theory, and symbolic language, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Leverage knowledge and a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field and employ general knowledge of other related disciplines. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems, ensuring solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Determine and recommend an approach to solutions independently. Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects and represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.

Basic Qualifications:

-4 years of experience with analyzing data from multiple sources in a complex environment in support of strategic planning

-Knowledge of performance management, including strategic planning, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and program evaluation

-Ability to perform statistical analyses using government and publicly available data

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in any branch of the military preferred

-Knowledge of the military environment

-Ability to perform analysis using software tools, including Tableau, SPSS, and others

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in a related field
