Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: SharePoint Developer Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance Reports to: Applications Development ManagerClass and Grade: This is a full-time position located in the Pentagon.Position Description: The SharePoint Developer applies current graphics design, and SharePoint services to develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance of existing SP 2010 Site Collections. Work with customers to develop rapid, simple solutions to complex problems on an ad-hoc basis. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis. Assist customers with establishing the SharePoint requirements for their business processes. Provide training as necessary for SharePoint customers.Scope: Work with a team of developers and business analysts in the Pentagon to implement Portal technologies using SharePoint 2010 at the enterprise level and support the migration from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013. Provide SharePoint 2010/2013 implementation and customization through development of web parts, workflows, and user interface using SharePoint Designer 2010/2013 and Visual Studio 2012 (and up).Primary Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include the implementation and customization of SharePoint solutions, implementation of SharePoint workflows, development of custom web parts, and the design and development of reporting and business solutions. Responsibilities also include SharePoint support, functional and non-functional requirements analysis, estimating project timelines, unit testing, quality assurance, design and code reviews, and development of technical documentation.Required Skills and Experience:-Active Secret Clearance Required-3+ years SharePoint 2010/2013 experience-Extensive knowledge of and experience with HTML5, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS3, Angular.JS-Extensive knowledge of and experience with SharePoint architecture and services-Knowledge of Infopath, Master Pages, Page Layouts, SharePoint Site Customization, SharePoint Designer, and SharePoint Workflows-C#, Asp.Net, MVC, and General Microsoft Web Development Experience-Agile Development Experience-Strong Graphic Design and UI Design skills.-Knowledge of developing and maintaining UI design patterns and employing modern JavaScript Frameworks such as JQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, etc. designs-Experience with integrating Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, InfoPath, InfoPath Designer, Project, Visio, OneNote, and Outlook) with SharePoint 2010/2013 features.-Business Intelligence Integration and Reporting with SQL Server 2008 and 2012, utilizing Integration (SSIS), Analysis (SSAS), and Reporting (SSRS) Services, as well as dashboard and KPI development using Excel Services, Access Services, and Visio Services.-Experience working within a structured application development environment, and possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering a high level of customer service-Be detail oriented, analytical, and possess the capability to resolve situations using a diverse number of technologies that integrate with SharePoint-Proficient in defining detailed functional and technical requirements, providing business and continuous process improvement expertise.-Quickly understand requirements and determine courses of actions that necessitate standard out-of-the-box functionality and the need for custom coding-Natural ability to identify, troubleshoot, and find alternate courses of action as circumstances necessitateQualifications/Education Requirements:-Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance-Must meet DoD 8570-01.M IAT-II requirements: CompTIA Security+ CE and Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or higher certification (70-331 or 70-332)-Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years experience in SharePoint Development; or the equivalent training and 3+ years experienceCompany DescriptionHartwood Consulting Group is made up of highly certified and experienced professionals who procure a more cogent understanding of the people, processes, and tools supporting organizational services to optimize service delivery.
