ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: The Enterprise Systems Architecture Implementation & Deployment Team is responsible for the global deployment and adoption of FTI's strategic information technology standards across our corporate office infrastructure worldwide. The Project Manager will support the Enterprise Systems Architecture organization by assisting with project and program administrative efforts for all IT initiatives. PRIMARY DUTIES: Initiates projects through the submission of Project Definition Forms to the IT Project Management OfficeFacilitates and documents project scoping and requirements definition meetings with project stakeholdersDevelops initial IT budgetary estimates and project schedules to satisfy project requirementsResponsible for the development and presentation of proposals and detailed design documentation for executive approvalReviews project deliverables from team members for quality and completeness Adheres to published standards and follows prescribed exception process when designs deviateProvides technical guidance to project team membersCoordinates and oversees the execution of project assignments by team members, corporate departments and third party vendorsDevelops mitigation strategies to address project risks and issuesAuthors and executes deployment plans to ensure effective rollout of IT services to global practitionersCreates and executes communications plans to ensure appropriate stakeholder awareness Produces and executes adoption plans to ensure practitioners maximize the utilization of new IT servicesAuthors and presents training materials to facilitate end user adoptionLeads onsite implementation and deployment activities; by exampleTransitions production services to operations personnel for ongoing maintenance & support through formal documentationContinuously compares actuals to estimates to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budgetConducts and learns from comprehensive lessons learned sessions to ensure continuous improvementFacilitates and documents assigned program coordination meetingsMaintains and posts program documentation to management portalsEnsures effective resource utilization through the development and maintenance of organization resource plansProactively identifies and communicates issues to leadershipConfirms all appropriate documentation, requirements, design and test specifications, templates and other required deliverables are created and reviewed/approved by external and internal stakeholdersReviews and facilitates on-time delivery of organizational contractsReviews contracts for accuracy, completeness and timeliness of submissionsCoordinates and tracks procurements across project to ensure accuracy and timeliness of submissionsMaintains the organization contract management tracking process BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience in successfully managing projects/programs in an IT environment PREFERRED SKILLS: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification PreferredComprehensive understanding of Microsoft, Cisco & VMware technologiesDemonstrable command of MS Office Suite, MS Project and VisioDeep understanding of project management methodologyExcellent communication (written & verbal), planning, organization, and administrative skillsAbility to travel (25%) including international About the Company: FTI Consulting, Inc. is a global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance enterprise value in an increasingly complex legal, regulatory and economic environment.
