Great Opportunity with Growing DC Area Company Includes highly competitive salary bonus potential benefits package and excellent opportunity for career growth PCM Services a commercial contractor in Beltsville MD seeks an organized and energized team player for a Project Manager Estimator in the Asphalt Division This role provides individuals with the opportunity to impact all of PCM and serves as a foundation for growth within the company It provides exposure training and experience for professional achievement and development within the Asphalt Division and across the company Overview The Project Manager is responsible for estimating and managing profitable and competitive Asphalt projects in accordance with established gross profit guidelines while building and maintaining strong customer relationships through highly responsive service reliability and quality projects Responsibilities Operational Estimate Asphalt project costs and develop scopes of work through customer meetings site visits and drawing and plan review Prepare revise and update project schedules Coordinate required pre construction meetings communicate regularly and consistently with customers subcontractors and appropriate internal team members to provide status updates of ongoing projects Ensure compliance with contract requirements secure necessary permits Source subcontractors and material suppliers and manage subcontractorsa schedules to ensure timely completion of work Ensure subcontracts and purchase orders are written and executed Ensure all required paperwork is submitted promptly and in accordance with company policies Act as subject matter expert for all parking lot related services offered by the Company including asphalt paving patching repair pavement marking sealcoating and concrete flatwork repair installation Support corporate compliance programs such as Safety and DOT Financial Review budgets versus actual performance on a weekly basis taking corrective action as necessary Troubleshoot areas of concern on existing projects Provide budget information to accounting in order to update the job cost system Attend weekly work in progress meetings and provide timely billing information to coordinator to ensure optimal cash flow Approve and submit subcontractor invoices for payment on a timely basis Minimum Qualifications Must have a minimum of yearsa commercial experience in the Asphalt industry including experience in estimating managing projects and production Previous management and direct field experience required High School diploma and or a combination of education experience and training Bachelora s degree strongly preferred Computer proficiency with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Valid drivera s license with satisfactory driving record Preferred Qualifications Fluency in Spanish Ability to read blueprints OSHA hour certification preferred Skills Abilities Superior interpersonal and communication skills oral and written Ability to motivate and guide team maintaining effective and productive work relationships Organized able to multi task Able to facilitate processes under tight deadlines We offer Competitive salary plus bonus potential vehicle allowance and gas card Comprehensive employee benefits package including medical dental life insurance and long term short term disability coverage Paid holidays sick and vacation leave Free on site fitness center Tuition reimbursement Business casual work environment Great co workers Visit our website at www pcmservices com
