employee of Zeiders Enterprises Inc Zeiders in the corporate home office located in Woodbridge VA The position is responsible for supporting the Director in all aspects of leading and delivering the companya s business development activities that contributes to positive revenue growth The position is inward facing responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the capture process monthly meeting pipeline coordination and reporting proposal management drafting and writing winning proposals in response to Federal Government Agency RFPs The Senior Corporate Development Manager supports and manages the development of innovative strategies business plans and capture activities for re compete and future work that is consistent with the overall company strategy The Senior Corporate Development Manager supports the Director with the successful execution of the companya s business development plans opportunity pipeline and bid submission activities The Senior Corporate Development Manager represents the Director supervises the daily activities of the Corporate Development matrixed team and manages the Business Development policies strategies and systems within the Corporate Development Division Essential Duties and Responsibilities Direct report to Director Corporate Development Represents the Director at Company meeting conferences activities as directed and in the absence of the CD Director Focus on daily CD processes and governance Lead the management of corporate strategies and plans to capture new business leads and related activities Support the development of short and long range business forecasts and marketing plans Performs analytical and research activities in support of business development strategic planning proposal development and marketing functions Manage market research and client and competitive profiles analyze the competitive and bidding landscape win loss bids and recommend bid no bid opportunities Participate in analyzing and researching customer and competitor information and data Identify and capture new market relationships especially the HR Solutions contract vehicle with potential new clients and agencies Identify and build new relationships with prospective business partners such as potential prime contractor relationships potential subcontractor relationships including small disadvantaged and veteran owned business and counselor and training consultants and networks Performs and supports all capture management and proposal development Manage and support all response eg RFI RFQ etc and proposal development RFP activities to include proposal solutions draft storyboards and initial outlines win themes and content Organize and lead color team reviews Manage new business pricing activities through the development of competitive pricing analysis research regarding funding profiles use of price schedules and develop cost work ups in prescribed formats and in conjunction with the Senior Financial Manager Participate in strategizing developing and implementing the companya s strategic marketing and public facing market presence to include web content brochures and collateral and trade show participation Supervise the developing organizing and maintaining all corporate development intellectual capital including corporate past performance qualifications key proposal content team member resumes and business contacts Responsible for the maintenance and housekeeping of the Corporate Development SharePoint Site Support and manage the efforts of the company wide Corporate Development and direct the daily activities of employees and independent consulting team members On an as needed basis may be asked to assist in the performance of current contracts and corporate business operations Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of Bachelora s degree in management marketing or related field coupled with years of Federal government related business development experience required Knowledge of federal and DoD customers and ability to convert knowledge into new business strategies have established customer contacts and the ability to influence decision makers knowledgeable of and ability to strategically position Zeiders internally and externally for new and continued growth Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to effectively interface with all levels of senior leadership and military officers Excellent computer skills including advanced MS Word working with large documents master documents and subdocuments forms and fields objects charts captions tables document merges and other intermediate and advanced Word skills Also requires advanced MS PowerPoint and MS Excel proficiency Possess a record of successful business development for mid sized business Experience working within SharePoint Desired Qualifications Experience with Government Contracting specifically DoD and VA Knowledge of military quality of life family support programs behavioral health programs and or government service industries especially Army HR Solutions IDIQ and other IDIQ contract vehicle experience Supervisory Responsibilities Supervises Corporate Development Mangers and Analyst Physical Demands Works in office areas Sits stands bends lifts and moves intermittently during working hours Uses personal
