Essential Duties and Responsibilities:The Master Data Management Solution Architect is responsible for applying MDM strategies, requirements and policies aligned to the company's vision, and supporting an MDM implementation on ACI's technology platform. The Master Data Management Solution Architect candidate will translate master data requirements into technical specifications, designing and overseeing the delivery of functional & technical components for master data solutions. This individual will work with business representatives to understand needs and collaborates in generating the best solution to solve business needs. This individual is expected to recommend and implement appropriate technical approaches for data management and integration solutions. This individual will also be responsible to work with Data Architects, Modeler and Profilers for the development, analysis and maintenance of all master data including the rationalization of data, and is also accountable for accurate and time critical application of MDM change processes. Plan and lead the MDM Mobilization effort as part of ACI's MDM Strategy implementationPlan and lead MDM requirement analysis sessions with business users Defines the overall MDM solution architecture and sets technical direction; defines component architecture, and reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture.Works with the MDM Project Manager (PM) for specific matters of scope, tasks, and resources to drive the MDM implementation for ACI.Responsible for Data Architecture strategy and working with Data Architects/Modelers to drive architecture roadmapsReviews work products and oversees Macro and Micro Design componentsVerifies design of overall Infrastructure and supports the build of the environmentsHelps drive the direction and implementation for MDM tool adoptionConfirms and Identifies Non-Functional RequirementsSupports Data Mapping Phases with proper technical analysisDesigns and plans testing and reporting for the impact assessment of additional functionalityAnalyzes impact of future topology changes in the client environment, both internal and external.Define measurable metrics and the minimal required attributes for each domain or subject area to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM platform Define requirements for data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows using the ACI's MDM tool(s)Thorough understanding of deterministic and probabilistic matching methodologies and master data hierarchy managementContinuously review MDM domain models to ensure that they reflect the best available enterprise-wide data according to domain definition.Provide continuing enhancement and review of MDM matching rules, data quality and validation processes.Using Oracle MDM suite of tools - design, develop, optimize and support MDM processes, including performance tuning of existing processes.Provide ownership of daily automated MDM operations lifecycle from data ingestion to data consumption using Oracle EDQ and MDM tools.Plan and lead any future MDM implementations, operations & product support on the Oracle platform.Define & implement measurable metrics to support a robust and successful deployment of an MDM platform.Provide subject matter expertise on data architecture and data integration implementations Understands and leverages enterprise architecture principles for cross-functional purposes. Be the point of contact with the Enterprise Architecture area. Participates in products roadmap planning, recommending technologies and solutions Identifies and proposes new opportunities for data integration and possible SOA implementations Consults with business representatives and work with the Business Analyst to ensure understanding of the business requirements and future strategic direction of the business/function qualifications. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience10 or more years in engineering, architecture and leadership roles in data management.At least 5 years of intensive hands on experience in MDM design, development, support and operations using Oracle MDM suite of tools.At least 5 years' direct experience in Data, Database and ETL development, support and operations with emphasis on Data quality and Data transformations, Transport, Security Deep understanding of Oracle suite of ETL products is required.Solid understanding of the enterprise-wide data flows including customer data flows.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and persuade at all management levels and thrive in a cross-functional matrix environment Must be methodical, detail-oriented and well-organized.Strong data management, integration and reporting experience.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize.Experience with Oracle EDQ a MUST, and should be able to architect it, direct data modelers how to drive rules and help data profilers use the tool.
