Children's Learning Adventure: As a provider of early childhood education and care, our child development programs, based on educational research, are developed for infants, toddlers, preschool, prekindergarten, kindergarten and school-age children. JOB SUMMARY Infant and Toddler Teachers that work for our company must share a passion for children and a passion for education. Some of the responsibilities as an infant/ toddler teacher include the following. Teachers plan and implement activities that promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. Responsible for the care, hygiene, diapering, learning, and developmental activities, and specialized programs. Communicates directly with parents regarding their child's accomplishments and daily activities. Maintains classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness. Looking for teachers with flexibility in their schedules. Our teachers offer children a rich environment that promotes self-confidence, social competence, and a lifetime love of learning. Our teachers infant and toddler teachers work with children ranging in age from 6 weeks through 2 years old. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResponsible for the safety of all children in the groupWorking knowledge of early care and educationDemonstrated skill in early childhood curriculum and implementationActively engaged with the children at all timesAbility to provide a love and nurturing environment for all childrenFollow lesson plans to as outlined in the Life Time Adventures CurriculumDevelop opportunities to positively impact children's self-esteemEnsure that classroom is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsServe as a role model to the children in the group through appearance and actionsMaintain an environment (both indoors and outdoors) that is safe, clean, and inviting. EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCEAssociates Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or CDA preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education highly desired.Must meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education, and experience2+ years of early childhood education experience desirable1+ years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers OTHER REQUIREMENTS * Excellent organizational skills required * Ability to be flexible in assignment and work hours required * CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain desirable * Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills required Children's Learning Adventure is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
