Our team is comprised of individuals who are eager to tackle new challenges, learn and implement new technologies, find creative solutions to projects on the fly, and who share our commitment to surpass our clients' expectations Position DescriptionNational Capitol Contracting (NCC) is in search of a customer-focused AV Support Technician to provide meeting and event support, troubleshooting, videography, and video editing for our government customer throughout its 10 sites in Washington, DC. Work hours are 8:00AM to 5:00PM. After hours worked may be required in order to support various events/assignments. Major ResponsibilitiesSet up and address user issues for audiovisual equipment, including SMART boards, microphones, speakers, mixers, etc.Provide training and assist instructors and staff on operating A/V equipment.Provide tier 1 maintenance for A/V equipmentTrouble-shoot and resolving A/V equipment issuesMonitor A/V loaner equipment given to staffConduct monthly check-ups on all A/V conference rooms at all field sitesRecord various events, meeting etc. using Sony HD Cameras and teleprompterDisc duplications, disc label makingVideo editingProvide other related IT network services. QualificationsExperience with various AV/IT/Video conferencing equipment such as Cisco, Polycom, and Promethean; MacBook, Mac Pro, iPad, iPhone, and other peripheral devicesKnowledge and experience with editing and office software, including Final Cut Pro, iDVD, Soundtrack Pro, Live Type, Adobe Products, Office for Mac, Screen Flow and other Mac software Must be an excellent troubleshooter and identify and resolve AV/IT issues expeditiouslyExperience with VCS Expressway or TMS preferredAvailable for evening and weekend work (mostly evening and rarely weekends) which is likely to occur 5-10 times per monthAbility to work a flexible scheduleHighly customer-service orientation requiredRequired to have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
