A college degree and experience in service apartments, hotel, real estate, service sector or other accommodation sales are preferred but not necessary. The hours for this position are 10am-7pm - Monday - Friday and weekend on call rotationThe Global Solutions Specialist is responsible for qualifying incoming calls and fulfilling housing requests. In addition to fulfilling housing needs, the Global Solutions Specialist is responsible for data entry of a lead screen for each call that is taken. In addition, when a reservation is confirmed, the Global Solutions Specialist completes paperwork and enters the reservation information into a reservation system.Excellent English writing skills and computer literacy is required to successfully navigate this position. The role requires a person who enjoys customer phone interaction, managing details, and selling over the phone. This position requires and individual who can align themselves and their day-to-day functions with our Vision and Core Values.Responsibilities Include1. Telephone Sales and ServiceQualify housing requests by conducting a thorough needs assessment.Research solutions to housing requests by inquiring through our local BridgeStreet offices, Network Partners, pre-qualified provider list or through additional research via the web.Initiate prospect follow-up to secure business that is pending.Initiate prospect follow-up to determine why business was lost.Pass along leads or other information to National Sales Representatives to create more business.Secure business. Following prescribed process and client business rule and complying with all required best practices.30% of time spent on qualifying business and handling miscellaneous calls/emails and 70% of time spent on fulfilling housing requests and completing the paperwork to secure the business.2. Maintaining BusinessMaintain open communication with the guest, to determine if their reservation dates need to be shortened or extended.Ensure compliance and response within client Service Level Agreement performance plansRespond to special client requests.3. ReportingProvide monthly booking report by which monthly commissions are calculated.Daily participation in Team meetings; review and action on all audit reports to ensure process compliance and productivityLog into telephone, email, CRM and Reservation system daily and according to stated schedule.Enter all leads into lead databaseEnter reservations in reservation system Update the company's database with guest information as necessary.4. AdministrativeMail, fax or email information to prospects that require that communication.Maintain Lead Management (CRM) and Oscar Market Manager (reservation system) information as needed.Fax or email client reservation agreements and provider paperwork as needed.Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Specific job knowledge, skill and abilityExcellent verbal and written skillsAdvanced computer literacy and multi-tasking skills.
