This is a rare and exciting opportunity to put your passion and experience to work supporting National Security efforts! The successful candidate will support ENSCO's growing Northern Virginia region technology business. The candidate will work with team members who possess diverse backgrounds (systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer software design, etc.) and will be part of a Government contractor team working in facilities in Northern Virginia. The candidate will have the opportunity to immerse him or herself in the ever-changing environment of cutting edge technologies that are key to ENSCO's business.Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:*Identification of vulnerabilities of Windows systems.*Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot software issues in conjunction with other staff to ensure timely response actions to development activities.*Conduct necessary software engineering and related functions to modify and adapt vendor-manufactured software to meet special government needs and contingencies. Qualifications Required (Skills) *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering; or equivalent.*10 years' experience as a software engineer in Windows environments*7 to 10 years programming experience in C/C++ on Windows computers.*7 to 10 years' experience in user and/or kernel mode debuggers.*Capable of assisting with design of new products and processes and improvising and maintaining existing products.*Knowledgeable of software tools charactering vulnerabilities in Windows computer systems.*Experience conducting vulnerability research in Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems*Ability to provide technical leadership to less experienced engineers.*Apply approved reverse engineering procedures and develop new procedures for characterizing software systems.*Good communication skills to communicate with other engineering personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.*MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
