SummaryIndividual will generate qualifiedcandidates using a variety of sources. Must be able to multi-task and work in afast paced environment. Recruit and place candidates in permanent and contractpositions in Operations (drivers and contractors). Retention of existingdrivers, assist to maintain the company's existing safety program, and ensuredrivers and equipment are in compliance with DOT regulations. Responsibilities Developannual recruiting strategies to include forecasting demand as well aspartnering with Human Resources and Operation Leadership Developand lead the day-to-day driver recruiting processes and act as a resource onall points of the recruiting cycle Developand lead all sourcing metrics to sustainable hiring productivity. This includesmentoring process & adjusting resources and strategies throughout the yearas needed Analyzeemployment-related data and prepare required reports Workwith other members of the Operations, Human Resource and Safety to identify andaddress recruiting key items such as market research, wage surveys,unemployment and other factors affecting our ability to attract and retaintalent Developand lead all sourcing metrics to sustainable hiring productivity. This includesmentoring process & adjusting resources and strategies throughout the yearas needed Creativesourcing and development of a pool of qualifies applicants through the use oftraditional and non-traditional techniques including social media channels,cold-calling, direct sourcing and networking Contactjob applicants to inform them of the status of their applications Conductphone screens and interviews Conductreference and background checks on job applicants Hireemployees and process hiring-related paperwork Conductexit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork iscompleted Attendsrecruiting trips involving trade shows, truck stops and nationwide seminars.Travel as needed Keepabreast of current industry news as well as professional development as neededto perform this job to the best of his or her ability. Experiencedwith proven success building internal and external relationships and attractingthe best and most qualified talent possible.
