AIS is currently seeking a Top Secret Cleared Senior Infrastructure Consultant to support the Federal Practice! We're seeking technical professionals who are passionate about systems administration, engineering and providing infrastructure support as a true consultant. Help Us Deliver Successful Projects!Utilize knowledge of systems architecture to create a strong core for application development.Draw on at least five years of system administration experience to assist with the core infrastructure for both internal projects and external projects for our clients.Collaborate with members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations.Use knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and administration to complete a variety of projects.Utilize experience with security and monitoring tools within Splunk.Serve as an escalation point for operations support and troubleshooting issues for Splunk.Utilize consulting and documentation skills to successfully complete project-based work.Use knowledge of servers, PC's, and networks to ensure the environment works correctly.Assist with documentation to ensure they can be continued into the future.Maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance in order to gain access to client sites and networks.Be open to commuting in and around the DC Metro area in order to be present at client sites for work.Profile of Success:Utilize Bachelora€ (TM) s Degree in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience in systems engineering to design platforms to support developersUse in-depth experience with networks, systems, and client-facing skills to create innovative business solutionsDesire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth.Other Desirable Skills:Current CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred or the ability to obtain CompTIA Security+ Certification within 30 days of employment required.Experience with SharePoint 2010 or SharePoint 2013, InfoPath, Windows Workflow or comparable technologies Enterprise Splunk management experience and using Splunk as a "power user" preferredAcquired Microsoft and/or Splunk related certifications, especially MCSE or Splunk Architect Certification Some project management experienceExperience with disaster recovery efforts for ITClient Site Locations: DC Metro Area (Downtown DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia)*Consultantsa€ (TM) assigned client sites are subject to change due to the consultative nature of our work.
