MTEQ, Inc. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Accounting team. This is a dual role of a senior financial analyst and pricing analyst with fair workload balancing. This individual will be responsible for the following:a€ cents Maintain MTEQ budgets and forecasts and perform monthly variance analysisa€ cents Assist with external and government auditsa€ cents Maintain and develop pricing for cost proposals. This requires superior Excel skills and ability to quickly gain full mastery of MTEQ existing pricing templates and develop new ones on an as-needed basisa€ cents Work with MTEQ teammates and incorporate their pricing proposals into MTEQa€ (TM) s prime cost proposalsa€ cents Work with internal organizations to determine anticipated labor and overhead rates, material requirements, equipment costs and possible bid strategiesa€ cents Responsible for complying with corporate policies, procedures, underlying Federal, state and/or local regulations concerning realistic cost estimatesAdditional/ad hoc responsibilities include, but not limited to:a€ cents Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. a€ cents Maintain or oversee the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income.a€ cents Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy to ensure smooth period closing. a€ cents May be asked to assist with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable processingThe ideal candidate should be a self-starter with fastidious attention to detail, analytical mindset, and a€œroll up your sleevesa€ attitude.Knowledge of RFP process and prior pricing experience for a government contractor is highly desired but not required.
