Is responsible for supplying needed components to the packaging line and the removal of finished goods in compliance with established SOP's and cGMP's. Perform various administrative duties, perform packaging activities as directed and trained, provide coverage for logistics associate on a limited basis, and general housekeeping. Work individually and within groups to develop procedures and processes to support manufacturing, packaging, and the warehouse operations. As a member of the Warehouse team, be co-responsible for the site and the department results. Ensure personal objectives are aligned with site goals and objectives. **Up to 18 month contracted position Working hours: 1st Shift Skills: **-1+ years experience as a material handler/forklift.** -Previous experience supporting production activities. **-High School Diploma or equivalent** -Knowledge of cGMP warehouse operations and familiar with various warehousing concepts. -Report to and receive general technical and administrative guidance from Warehouse supervisor. -Accurately pick, deliver, and enter transactions into appropriate system (SAP). -Assume responsibility as the first point of contact for emergencies relating to emergency material requests. -Arrange for the removal of Waste from the packaging Line(s). -Stage inventory materials for production use. -Perform daily housekeeping in assigned areas. -Comply with all safety related material handing procedures and equipment including fork-lift trucks and power pallet jacks. Will be required to lift and move smaller size materials physically. -Promote teamwork and open communication. Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to support packaging, manufacturing, and the warehouse. -Knowledgeable in and follows all relevant SOP's and cGMP to ensure that all validation, quality, safety, and environmental requirements are met. -Assist in developing productivity improvement plans using Industrial excellence methodologies. -Participates in investigations, CAPA's, and deviations as needed. -Recognize and report all deviations and quality issues immediately to Warehouse/Packaging management team. -Responsible for working with Quality in an effort to maintain the operation in full cGMP compliance -Responsible for working with various users on the packaging line(s) to deliver production and non-production materials. -Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practice.
