Account Executive - Insurance Services Washington, DC Job Title: Account ExecutiveDepartment: Insurance ServicesLocation: Washington, DC Reports to: Vice President, Programs and Special RisksFLSA Status: ExemptRequisition #: 160029SUMMARY:The Account Executive will serve as the primary account handler, utilizing their in-depth knowledge of our products and policies, binder programs, resources, database and procedures to manage and service accounts, handling renewal conclusions, account rounding and processing all renewals, endorsements, and cancellations activities. Clients include a wide range of International organizations with global operations and multi-line insurance portfolio. The Account Executive should be able to not only effectively explain the benefits of the product to a client, but to also demonstrate the benefits of purchasing the products or services. He /She must be able to determine how to best serve their clients by offering the right product to fit their needs and strive to create new accounts, as well as retain customer loyalty.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and service clients with their insurance needs, reviewing exposures and making recommendations on best solutions.Manage book of business, retain renewal business, reaching or exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual retention, premium and revenue targets; account rounding with existing and new clients.Compile statistical data and prepare renewal submission for insurance companies and internal underwriting.Prepare and deliver renewal presentations, stewardship reports, policy presentations.Meet with clients as needed a€" (domestic and international travel required). Prepare and forward renewal policy applications to the appropriate insurance company.Act as a liaison between clients and insurers to provide assistance with claims.Ensure that policies are assigned the correct tax rate and all related tax documents have been completed in accordance with E&S tax guidelines.Maintain integrity of client information in the TAM system via accurate data entry.Collect and review client receivables; prepare vouchers for payment of premiums and verify payments.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelora€ (TM) s degree or equivalent years of experienceMinimum of three (3) years customer service, sales, or account executive experience in commercial insurance industryPossess aP&C licenseMust be proficient in MSWord and ExcelExcellent oral and written communication skillsCompelling presentation skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous insurance software experience preferredPossess an L&H licenseExperience in international insurance, risk management, financial services or professional services industryExperience with, or in, emerging marketsCERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:Property and Casualty License required.Life and Health license recommended.TO APPLYPlease send a resume to firstname.lastname@example.org; include a€œAccount Executive - Insurance Servicesa€ in the subject line of the email. .
