The selected candidate will be responsible for the following. Program set ups and maintaining detailed budgets based on: contractual requirements, top-level budget allocations, labor and other resources, and schedule parameters. Perform analyses and prepare reports supporting the program management function. Monitors and ensures availability of funding and appropriateness of funding commitments by maintaining and analyzing accurate, detailed records of expenditures and commitments. Monitors and incorporates contractual changes into cost and schedule baselines.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Plan, track and manage cost status. Support multiple programs as well as multiple program managers with the tracking of contract financials. Support internal program tracking and reporting processes including regular program reviews, financial reviews, Estimate at Completion (EAC) updates. Manage and maintain monthly subcontractor invoice submissions; making sure all invoices are accounted for and processed appropriately and accurately. Ability to step in and help with completion and submission of customer deliverables. Support PM s with timecard approvals and submissions. Perform bi-monthly timecard analysis Ability to work independently and part of a team Ad Hoc reporting as necessary.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor s Degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a financial analyst or project controller, with preference given to experience in the US Government federal contracting. Expertise with MS suite including but not limited to Excel & PowerPoint. Experience with corporate finance and accounting systems or software (eg, JAMIS, Cognos, CostPoint, SAP) Strong organizational skills and ability to work within a team. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.PREFERRED:Knowledge of contract types including FFP, FFP LOE, T&M, and CPFF Knowledge of Far, DFARS, and GAAP Knowledge of ETC s Ability to budget, forecast, and plan for multiple programs. Working knowledge of JAMIS financials as well as Cognos Impromptu. Working knowledge of Etime (timecard submission platform).
