We are in the process of expanding our business development team with the goal of taking on clients that are interested in achieving higher forms of success with this proven integrated model. As such, R2i is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our sales team, with a specific focus on identifying opportunities where Marketing Cloud solutions can bring significant benefit to the customer.The primary role of this position is to generate new business leads by generating appointments with sales and marketing professionals at target accounts, developing leads into opportunities and projects, specifically where Marketing Cloud solutions can bring significant benefit to the customer.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESUnderstanding of digital marketing techniques and strategies (Personalization, Campaign Execution, Social, Search, etc)In-depth knowledge of marketing trends and how these relate to Digital Marketing, in particular CMS, personalization, data driven marketing, and CRMComfort level with mid-high volume of touches and calls with prospects (80-100 touches per day)Competitive knowledge of Enterprise CMS, Web analytics, Optimization and Campaign Management vendorsDirect lead to revenue management activities in concert with SVP BDLead generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow upMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual appointment and revenue targetsPerform new business/introductory calls and web presentations, present and articulate R2i value propositionsWork closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needsDevelop and maintain relationships with prospects and clients over the long termManage client relationships to ensure maximum upsell and cross-sell potentialDESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE2-3 years of client services and/or business development experience (technical consulting, agency, marketing services) with preference given to candidates with successful business development backgrounds at mid-size to large agencies and/or large Adobe systems integratorsProven track record of penetrating new clients and expanding existing accountsExperience with lead and demand gen for deals in marketing technologyProven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas and goalsExperience selling services to sales and marketing organizations within high-tech firmsExceptional written and oral presentation skillsStrong attention to detailFamiliarity working in Salesforce.com or similar CRM/SFA systemMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree required.
