Senior Infosec Analyst- Connection Approval, Assessment and Authorization
The project will encompass the building of the hosting infrastructure within the Datacenter, testing and validation of design, user data migration, and government acceptance testing. In addition a continuity of operations (COOP) solution will be developed to provide capabilities during a disaster situation. Candidates should be familiar with Department of Defense (DoD) or other secure environments, a general understanding of engineering lifecycles and milestones, deadlines, and government process would also be helpful for this program. Candidate will provide Assessment & Authorization (A&A) support, and must be experienced with preparing and maintaining accreditation documentation and artifacts in accordance with the DoD Information Assurance C&A Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) models. Candidate should be experienced with reviewing security architecture and design diagrams detailing ports, protocols, etc. Experienced with DoD IAVM tracking and reporting. Experienced with implementing Cybersecurity Best Practices and formulating remediation guidance for technologies such as Windows Server Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, Web Technologies and Hardware/Software Virtualization. Perform and/or evaluate vulnerability scans on production and integrate systems utilizing approved network scanning tools and appropriate Government provided software and scanning tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS), and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP). Experience performing Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), directing remediation efforts, building Residual Risk Reports and tracking Plan Of Cation & Milestones (POA&M). Experience performing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and knowledge of best practices protecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Prepare activity and status reports. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Candidate will at times work directly with customer representatives and be required to develop and report present task status. Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
- Performs Computer Security Incident Response activities for a large organization, coordinates with other government agencies to record and report incidents.Recognizes potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises thorough reviews and analyses of relevant event detail and summary information.Communicates alerts to agencies regarding intrusions and compromises to their network infrastructure, applications and operating systems.Assists with implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.Ensures the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies, through monitoring of vulnerability scanning devices.Performs periodic and on-demand system audits and vulnerability assessments, including user accounts, application access, file system and external Web integrity scans to determine compliance.Prepares Plan of Action, and Mitigation of analysis methodology and results.Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.Participates in special projects as required.
- Possess and maintain DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical Level II certification.
- Understanding and Experience with: ? VMware Virtualization Technologies a plus.
