The Senior Principal Engineer, System Center Services is a subject matter expert that has global responsibility for the design and configuration of a System Center Management Architecture.

Specific responsibilities include:

    Experienced in the installation, configuration, and utilization of MS SCCM 2012 to deploy/patch software packages to thousands of desktop workstations, laptops, and servers.Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2012’s: Architecture, Sites, Collections Distribution points, SCCM database, Windows Server 2008R2+Active Directory, MDT deployment technologies Utilization of change management/change control processes and procedures.Proven experience in documenting system requirements, design, implementation, and operations document deliverables.Experienced in identifying/capturing requirements, designing, developing, system and security testing, documenting, and implementing large scale enterprise information technology projects/solutions.
 

Position may be performed from any location including telework. Occasional travel is required.

 

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Masters Degree preferred.

Qualifications 10-12 years of directly related experience supporting Microsoft System Center Suite (SCCM, SCOM, VMM)

 

Systems integration engineer with senior level (8 plus years) experience with identifying and defining requirements, designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing information systems technology solutions to large-scale federal enterprise environments Certifications:  Preferred: MCSE: Server Infrastructure, MCSA: Windows Server 2012, MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008.

 

Strong record of operational success managing Microsoft System Center services including outstanding uptime.
