Security Project Mngr
*Description:* The Defense and Intelligence Group has a current opening for a Security Project Manager located at our Customer Site in Springfield area. Job Description: The successful candidate will have proven success managing small contracts or task orders. This position will provide program management office support to one or more government customer divisions. Routinely collaborate and coordinate with Security and Installations Division Chiefs and program management office to efficiently execute government and contract deliverables and assist with subcontractor management. Provides oversight and guidance to special projects of high importance, as required, to include coordinating responses and mitigation strategies for performance concerns. Acts as the point of contact between division chief leadership, contractor employees, and Task Order Program Manager. Collaborate with the government to solve problems, mediate disputes, and resolve issues before they are escalated to the director level. Organize and lead business meetings and conferences as required. Ensure timely delivery of products and services to meet master schedules and program milestones. *Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor's Degree in business administration or related field, with 8+ experience in project management support to senior government or industry officials. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Required Skills: Experience supervising small teams a must. Must have demonstrated project management skills. Very strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, to include delivery of finished products. Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate verbally with senior officials. Ability to successfully work with and adapt to personnel at all levels; deal with high visibility situations and work effectively under the pressure of rigid deadlines. Must be detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
