The successful candidate will…
- Develop and refine templates and policies for crafting all kinds of contracts from donor agreements and memoranda of understanding to service contracts and grant awards; Draft and negotiate many kinds of agreements; Provide guidance to internal and external clients regarding the details and implications of grants and contracts; Enhance and maintain software for tracking and filing contracts to allow for “cradle to grave” monitoring.
- College degree from an accredited university; Previous experience as a legal secretary, legal assistant, contracts associate or specialist, or paralegal (business or nonprofit law); Previous experience monitoring, tracking, and organizing the many pieces of a large project; Ability to prioritize and multitask; Possession of excellent written and verbal communications skills Demonstrated deadline and detail orientation; Knowledge of MicroEdge GIFTS and Trello packages are a plus.
