Project Manager Description: Serves as the contractor's project manager and shall be the contractor's authorized interface with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), Contracting Officer (CO), Government personnel, and Department of Justice (DOJ) agency representatives. Overall responsibility for formulation and enforcing work standards, assigning contractor work schedules, reviewing all work products and services, ensuring all Tasks and Deliverables are performed in conformance with issued Task Orders, and billing is both accurate and timely. Supervises contractor personnel including maintaining daily contact with, and supervision of, the Senior Site Engineers responsible for all site-based activities associated with each Task Order, and communicates policies, purposes and goals of the contractor organization to subordinates. He/she is responsible for management of the entire project and the assigned staff. They shall demonstrate expertise in planning, organizing, and prioritizing work, meeting deadlines, managing multiple tasks in a highly complex, dynamic environment and maintaining fiscal responsibilities and controls. Education/Degree/Certification Required:Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification by the Project Management Institute is required. This Certification must be maintained during the period of performance of this contract.Bachelor's Degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited University in one of the following: Information Technology, Computer Science, Applied Science, Communications and Engineering.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The Project Manager must be highly proficient in both speaking and writing the English language. Experience:The Project Manger candidate must have a documented minimum of five (5) years of experience providing project management for geographically dispersed installation of centralized video transmission and collection systems in urban areas. The candidate must also have at least five (5) years of experience in managing funds and staffing resources supporting complex multitask contracts in a dynamic environment. A minimum of ten (10) years of documented experience with RF technology and the configuration, installation, installation, and maintenance of video transmission systems is required. This experience may have been concurrently acquired with the aforementioned project management experience requirement. Location: Ventura, CA or Herndon, VA
