Be a part of our Nation's Homeland Security efforts by providing the foundations for their overall strategies! The successful candidate will assist in the management of multiple, simultaneous programs in various stages of the acquisition process, from concept to technology transition to end user organizational components. This role requires familiarity with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process and its integration with government acquisition requirements. Key Responsibilities:*Provide programmatic assistance in the planning, acquisition, development, test & evaluation, delivery, installation and deployment of systems to support the global and domestic radiation and nuclear detection architecture.*Lead, monitor, and track program cost, schedule and technical performance.*Assist in the preparation of acquisition documentation, executive level program status briefing materials, technical instructions, program sustainment documents, program documents for Department Headquarters and Congressional Review. Qualifications Required (Skills) *B.S. Degree in engineering, science or management science or equivalent*20 years of Program/Project management experience with the planning, acquisition, development, test & evaluation, delivery, installation and deployment of systems to support the global and domestic radiation and nuclear detection architecture.*Comprehensive knowledge of federal government acquisition policies with specific expertise in sustainment planning and technology transition.*Demonstrated experience interacting professionally with multiple government agencies and industry partners.*Strong writing and editing skills.*Strong communications skills at all levels of Government and Contractor staff*Must have a current and active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain DHS Suitability, for which you must be a US Citizen. You will not be considered for this position if you do not meet this requirement.
