ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: - Performs a variety of warehouse duties - Receives, counts, and stores items manually or using computer - Places or route materials to prescribed storage locations - Stores, stacks, or palletizes materials as directed in accordance with prescribed storage methods - Inventories stored materials, examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage - Removes material from storage and prepares for shipment - Delivers supplies to designated areas - Operates hand or powered trucks/forklifts as necessary - Performs operator maintenance on warehouse vehicles as appropriate and assigned - Operates warehouse trucks as necessary to pickup or deliver stock NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience - Must be able to type 40 wpm - Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Outlook Skills, Knowledge and Abilities - Excellent personal communication skills - Must have valid state drivers license and be able to maintain post driving privileges - Prior work with military/government preferred - Must be able obtain/maintain Common Access Card - Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines - Must be able to devise steps necessary to complete tasks - Ability to read, write, and understand English Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop down and lift and carry ion excess of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
