Provide Project Management oversight and support for the coordination and installation of various IT projects. Coordinates with the customer and stakeholders to track and report on projects. Reviews project documentation for accuracy and staffs with the customer for approval. Coordinates with the project team and tracks the project to completion. Coordinates with various entitites and stakeholders in all phases of project plannng, execution, and monitoring and controlloing as required. Maintains records of changes and requirements; ensures all team members are informed of changes. Project Manager will be responsible to coordinate with Government representatives, both in the customer’s organization and from other outside agencies, to coordinate project issues. Track, manage, and monitor systems to ensure project documents are up to date in accordance with customer policies.

Education 1. Bachelors Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

 2. Professional certification (PMP) preferred, experience required.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related experience, including supervisory experience.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Project Management experience requiredITIL v3 Foundation certification a plusExperience with MS Visio, MS Excel and/or MS ProjectAbility to interface with senior government officialsEffective management, administrative, and organizational skillsAdvanced oral and written communication skills in order to effectively articulate policy, interface with other departments at all levels and manage projectsAble to develop processes and procedures to effective manage projects and facilitate reporting and analysisAble to direct and coordinate work through other departmentsDetail oriented and organized; able to understand work problems and procedures and ensure accuracy of project management. Reviews the work of others and is able to detect errors or needed modificationsEnsures work products are accurate and complete. May be responsible for effectively monitoring schedules and requirements of multiple projects
