KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • The position requires a valid driver's license.
  • GS-13: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience includes: Demonstrating a high degree of proficiency and expertise relating to acquisition and sustainment processes/procedures for the DOMEX program; evaluating the overall effectiveness and adequacy of Coast Guard DOMEX infrastructure due to changing mission technologies and emphasis; assessing unforeseen developments, emerging technologies, and difficulties encountered and recommend changes in the direction and approach; planning and implementing strategy for DOMEX system management out reach and follow-up for the purpose of increasing understanding of the programs and associated projects, both within the United States and throughout key countries; drafting articles and other written materials as appropriate, and coordinates abroad range of program outreach within the Coast Guard and Intelligence Community; formulating specifics trategies and actions to increase the exposure of Coast Guard Intelligence DOMEX requirements through internal partnering and external outreach.

    Preferred the candidate have five years of Intelligence Community experience in DOMEX or forensic examination of digital media within the Law Enforcement community.

    Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    This position does not have a positive education requirement.

    All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement. This includes Time-In-Grade requirements for current status employees applying through merit promotion procedures. Status applicants applying for a promotion must have 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade.
