This position serves to support the customer care and requirement function for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Secure Web Services (OSD SWS) system located in the Joint Service Provider (JSP) Secure Systems Integration Office (SSIO).

Washington Headquarters Services was established as a Department of Defense Field Activity on October 1, 1977, as part of a DoD headquarters streamlining initiative. Approximately 1,200 civilian and military employees as well as contract staff are organized into 12 directorates and offices. WHS personnel contribute to the mission of our Defense customers by managing DoD-wide programs and operations for the Pentagon Reservation and DoD leased facilities in the National Capital Region. WHS is organizationally aligned under the Director of Administration for the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer.

In addition to basic requirement, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising on Secure Web Services, system and network operations and sustainment issues; advising for IT services and capabilities; developing customer profiles; determining the needs for new or modified IT products and services; and providing resolution on Department of Defense wide IT issues related to Special Access Programs/Security program policy and processes.
You may NOT substitute education for specialized experience at this grade level.
