The Ford Agency has an immediate temp-to-hire opening for an HR Administrative Assistant for one of DC's top corporate law firms.  The Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR team's recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration efforts.  An excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative support skills and an interest in HR to gain substantive work experience in the field!

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with setting up employees by creating new hire employee files, conducting orientations, and serving as first point of contact for new employees
  • Maintain HR and Benefits manuals and new employee handbooks
  • Post new jobs on the intranet and other job boards
  • Generate monthly benefits reports

Qualifications include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • At least three years of administrative support experience in a professional services firm
  • Law firm experience is a plus and substantive HR internships will be considered
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
