Risk Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Monitor risk

-related information for private sector clients by leveraging appropriate IT tools, analytic methodologies, and tradecraft within an existing risk management

-related program. Assess and design risk management programs. Determine baselines and apply contextual analyses to assess anomalous events. Work with senior analysts and conduct sound oral and written recommendations to appropriate authorities based on the data analyzed. Perform data gathering, research, and analysis while conducting threat, vulnerability, risk, and maturity assessments. Apply critical thinking, conduct gap analysis, and develop implementation plans for the improvement of the risk management

-related program. Develop best practices and lessons learned to contribute to constant innovation and improvement. This position requires travel up to 50% of the time to client site locations within the US.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, security analytics, fraud, threat intelligence, or counterintelligence

-Experience with data loss prevention and end

-point detection tools, including McAfee DLP, Digitial Guardian, and Forcepoint

-Experience with commercial and Open Source data analysis platforms, including Splunk or Hadoop

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to be a Self-starter and thrive in a Fast-paced environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in IT, Security, National Security, Criminal Justice, or Cybersecurity

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Cyber forensic tools, including FTK and EnCase preferred

-Knowledge of existing information technology products, including network, security, analytic, and infrastructure

-related tools, such as Splunk, Bluecoat, Bit9 or Carbon Black, and Symantec

-Knowledge of data scripting languages, including Python or R

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent critical thinking, data gathering, data analysis, report writing, leadership, presentation, analytic, quantitative, time management, and consulting skills
