If so, read on!   Learn GEICO's business from the insiders view and take advantage of the opportunity to join a team of audit professionals.   Job Duties & Responsibilities:   As an entry-level Operational auditor, you will gain broad exposure to a variety of GEICO business processes and systems, as well as having interaction with all levels of associates and management.  In Operational audit, you are not handed a pre-determined work plan.  Rather, using a risk-based approach, you plan and execute projects and audit engagements that allow you to interact with a number of professionals throughout the company as you learn the inner workings of GEICOs operations. This allows you the opportunity to take ownership of your work product.   • You have the opportunity to help facilitate positive change by examining business processes and recommending areas for improvement to corporate management.
• You will participate in evaluating the design and testing the effectiveness of controls as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX)
• And your experience will not be limited to auditing just one area.  Our cross-functional approach enables collaboration among the Operational, Financial, and IT audit teams.   Would you like to join our innovative team?  If so, do you meet these qualifications?   Candidate Qualifications:   • Bachelor's degree required
• Technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Word is desired.  Knowledge of data extraction software (such as IDEA or ACL) is a plus
• Analytical/critical thinking, decision-making, and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects and be a team player
• Knowledge of insurance operations is preferred
• Desire and ability to attain the Certified Internal Auditor designation, as well as to develop audit-related experience and skills needed to advance to the next level
• Travel approximately 5-10%   Salary Information:
