Establish and maintain configuration and data management policies and procedures to be utilized by departmental personnel and other participating functions to ensure a standard approach for configuration management requirements. Monitor the review of release of engineering change data and change accounting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. Organize and implement the process of evaluating performance against established policies and procedures to ensure hardware and and software documentation integrity is being maintained. Manage, maintain and update configuration data and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Ensure accuracy of information and develop policies and procedures and provide training regarding the Configuration and Change Management processes. Work with other network professionals as directed to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB).


Education Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

Qualifications 8-10 years of related configuration management experience, including supervisory experience.

    ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred8570 Compliant certification(s)Competent to work at a high technical level on all phases of change and release managementThorough understanding of the assessment, preparation, and implementation of environments and change control activities for complex tasksExcellent business communication skills; Works with others to coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changesPossess excellent writing and communication skillsOrganizes and implements the process of evaluating performance against established policies and proceduresDetail oriented and organizedExperience with Remedy is preferred
