Coordinator, Graduate Programs Admissions and Fiscal Management
The George Mason University English Department seeks applicants for the position of Coordinator, Graduate Programs Admissions and Fiscal Management to work with the departmentâ€™s Graduate Programs Manager.
Responsibilities: This position includes managing applications to the graduate programs, and answering applicant inquiries; tracking graduate programs budgets; and recruiting and managing the selection and appointment of graduate teaching and research assistants.
Required Qualifications: Candidate should have excellent writing, math and interpersonal skills; must also be detail-oriented, computer proficient, accurate at record-keeping and typing, and able to establish priorities and work independently in a busy office. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is further required.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of the Ellucian SCT Banner system is a plus.
