Behavior Analyst-BCBA Required
The Ivymount School is actively recruiting highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analysts to join our BCBA Leadership Team. Ivymount offers a dynamic community of Master and Doctorate level BCBAs with exceptional clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
For over 50 years, Ivymount has provided educational programs and therapeutic services for students with disabilities from throughout the Washington DC metro area. Our highly trained educational and clinical staff provide individualized, evidence based student programming with the goal of enhancing the lives of our students.
We are currently seeking experienced BCBAs for the position of Behavior Analyst. Behavior Analyst positions are currently available at our Rockville, MD campus in our Multiple Learning Needs Program.
Behavior Analysts provide direct support to classroom teams through training and development of classroom management systems and individualized treatment plans. Based on functional assessment, Behavior Analysts develop function-based treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-based interventions for skill replacement and supervise the implementation of the plan. Behavior Analysts provide initial and ongoing training to educational staff in the principles of ABA, as well as crisis management.
Only candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field who are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (or plan to take the exam within the next 90 days) will be considered for this position. Qualified candidates will also possess a minimum of three years’ experience in providing behavior services (e.g., functional assessment, development and implementation of function-based Behavior Intervention Plans, treatment evaluation, crisis intervention) to students with autism and other special needs.
