Telecom Customer Service (Job Number:425210) *Description:* SAIC has an opening for a Telecom Customer Service Rep located in Washington, DC. - Active Secret Security clearance needed to be considered** Job Description: This is a Telecom Customer Service position in support of the Department of State (DoS) Vanguard Program, Service Management Office (SMO), and Voice Service Line (VSL) TWD Customer Service. Manage and track telecom orders, changes, moves and disconnect requests. This includes reviewing and validating voice and data order requests from customers, data entry, and providing tracking and status of orders. Job Responsibilities: - Process all New, Move, Change, and Disconnect orders for Data and Voice services customers. - Enter and update internal systems with order service detail information. - Track order status and provide timely updates to customers. - Document clear and concise notes related to order activities in the internal databases to ensure that the customers can view the most current status of an order. - Work closely with Voice and Data teams to meet the customer's day-to-day requirements. - Answer customer calls for queries regarding order status activities. - Provide high quality customer service and timely product delivery. - Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal customer expectations to complete each order within the standard intervals or better. Qualifications : *REQUIRED EDUCATION:* High school diploma and 5+ years or an Associate's degree with 2+ years experience. Desired Experience/Skills/Knowledge/Attributes: - Background in M-A-C (Move, Add and Change) day-to-day environment. - Ability to resolve complex issues. - Meticulous attention to detail. - Team collaborator. - Proficiency with MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent oral and written communications skills. - Strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to multi task in a high paced environment. - Ability to develop, brief and lead customer-requested training and briefings.
