We are currently looking for a Master Electrician to join our team in our Prince Frederick location.5+ years of experience in residential and / or light commercial electric installation & repairMust be comfortable working at heights and on rooftops with proper safety apparatus.Must have complete understanding of the NEC code book or be attending classes with the intention of gaining these skills.Ability to calculate total load amperage ratings, wattages, KW & KVA sizes. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.Ability to distinguish colors to ensure safe wiring practices.Using hydraulic lifts, mechanical devices and wheeled carts with or without assistance of another employee, remove from truck, move to customer location, and install parts which may be oversized or overweight. IE Generators or Propane Tanks.Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring.Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles.Upon review of the job ticket, load vehicle with required equipment and tools so that "jobs" can be accomplished in efficient and professional manner.Provide mentoring and training for apprentice and Journeyman employees under your development.Provide personal hand tools as defined in Department Practice Instructions.Use Company supplied Tablet or Laptop to complete a Service Work order. In order to collect all billable work at time of job completion.Complete Daily vehicle inspection form which includes; Visually inspect assigned vehicle for safety considerations, ie, tires, lights, brakes, oil and other fluid levels, etc. and confirm the absence of fluid leaks on a daily basis. Reporting and recording all mechanical failures or concerns prior to departure.Communicate with customer on the proper function/operation of new equipment installed.MD Masters Electrical License, Anne Arundel Master Electrical License. Or Masters License of jurisdiction required for our operational area of service.Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Safe and clean driving record as determined by company and state license requirements.Problem solving, customer relations and communications skills which will positively promote the company's image as the industry service leader.Team leadership skills and know-how by interpreting proposal specifications and directing the efforts of other members of the installation team.
