This position is located in the Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC) on Naval Support Activity, Bethesda, Maryland.

I have completed a full 4-year course of study that meets all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with major study in Technical Information Services or a related fields.
I have four years of experience that provided knowledge of the basic principles, theories, practices, techniques, and terminology of a Technical Information Services or a related field; an understanding of the standard methods, procedures, and techniques of research and analysis in the subject-matter field; and the ability to read and comprehend nontechnical material in one or more foreign languages. Such experience must have been equivalent to that which would have been gained through a 4-year college curriculum.
I do not have a combination of A and B, but I do possess and equivalent combination of education and experience that meets the total qualification requirements.

I have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent in the level of difficulty and responsibly to that of the GS-09 in the Federal Service that has equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
· Researching radiation exposure reports, comparing the hard copy reports with the computerized database for agreement and completeness.
· Communicating with Naval and Non-Naval entities to interpret and assist in dosimetry calculations.
· Verifying and assessing causes and methods for resolution of problems or imped affection archived doses.
OR I have 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or doctoral degree (Ph.D, M.D., or equivalent) related to the position.
OR I have a combination of specialized experience as described in letter A above and education as described in letter B above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.

- Selectee must be immunized on an annual basis against influenza in accordance with BUMEDINST 6220.9B. As a condition of employment, a seasonal influenza vaccine is required. Any exemptions must be approved in accordance with government-wide and local policy and guidance. Any employee who obtains an exemption must follow strict rules in accordance with government-wide and local policy and guidance. Failure to maintain these conditions of employment could result in disciplinary action up to and including removal from Federal Service.
- This is a non-critical sensitive IT-II position requiring the incumbent to obtain a favorable ANACI (Access National Agency Check with Inquiries) investigation for continued assignment to a non-critical sensitive position. The incumbent has access to information requiring protection under the Privacy Act of 1974 and to Department of Defense and Department of Navy IT system(s) with ability to access and/or impact sensitive data.
- Occasional Travel may be required up to 5%.
- Selectee will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
