Enterprise Sales Executive, Sales Job Description

Job Skills & Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 5+ years U.S. healthcare technology sales experience (selling to hospitals, non-profits, pharmaceutical companies, Health Information Exchanges, etc.)
  • Significant experience with Healthcare IT integration technologies such as HL-7 as well as the Microsoft technology stack (.NET, IIS, SQL)
  • Proven track record developing and closing sales opportunities and consistent achievement of sales objectives. 
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Duties, tasks, and responsibilities

  • Develops opportunities sourced by the business development and marketing teams as well as from existing relationships.
  • Works closely with a Sales Solution Architect to determine the most appropriate solution to meet the client’s need.
  • Develops and maintains deep product knowledge to ensure proper positioning of our products and services.
  • Prepares proposals and presentations and collaborates on sales contracts.
  • Coordinates with other company resources to ensure closing of new sales.
  • Supervises established client accounts.
  • Tracks and reports opportunity development and progress toward goals.
  • Travels as needed for in-person meetings with prospects, customers and partners to develop and close sales opportunities.             
  • Assists in the execution of marketing activities as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.
