Job DescriptionWe have an immediate opening for a full-time Engineering Technician to support our client at a research facility in Bethesda, MD. Preference given to qualified candidates with availability to start between mid-March 2017 - early April 2017.Summary: The Engineering Technician provides engineering support, is involved in the water management program, and provides Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) support.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides engineering support in the preparation of any engineering controls documentation. Oversees maintenance procedures for building systems.Reviews and coordinates Work Orders for any maintenance work required.Pulls water samples, reports findings, and manages small projects to assist meeting clean water standards. Works with in-house and contracted staff to maintain water quality through a water management program.Provides Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) support in MS2000 and Webview/Maximo. Tasks to include but not limited to providing facility data tags to specific equipment, review PMs and asset inventory, and support training to end users and maintenance staff.QualificationsMust be able to obtain a security clearance, if requiredBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering fieldMinimum 2 years experience in facility operations and maintenance with specific experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsUnderstanding of the preventative maintenance processUnderstanding of building automation systemsSolid analytical, problem solving, and technical troubleshooting skillsAbility to influence change and innovation in a team atmosphereSelf-starter who requires minimal direct supervision ProSource is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Company DescriptionProSource Consulting, LLC is a dynamic quickly growing government contractor located in Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.
