GEICO is seeking a Financial Analyst/Programmer with strong programming, data management, problem solving, communication, and analytical skills. As a Financial Analyst/Programmer, you will be part of a team that applies statistical methods to analyze test programs and develops statistical research projects for the purpose of annual business planning. The salary range for this position is from $60k to $75k.


Job Description


GEICO is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as Financial Analyst/Programmer. In this position, you will review proposed systems and procedural changes to analyze how effective they are. You will also work extensively with IBM Cognos TM1 software to build and deliver technical solutions that involve all TM1 components (e.g. cubes, dimensions, TI processes, rules). Other responsibilities will include coordinating the development of TM1 cubes/models throughout all stages of the project life cycle and maintaining TI processes. This position will require you to identify ways to streamline processes through effectively applying both traditional and advanced technological solutions. We will provide training on financial systems.





• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or a related field preferred

• Working knowledge of budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial reporting

• Strong excel skills are required

• Programming experience (e.g. SAS, SQL, R)

• Experience with IBM Cognos TM1 is a plus
