Position Overview
The Servicing Portfolio Analytics (SPA) team is seeking an individual who wants to expand their business intelligence and analysis skills. The SPA team is mainly responsible for servicing scorecard, supporting account management team to manage impactful servicers. It also supports NPL/RPL transactions and evaluations including but not limited to MI valuation, servicing MSR valuation and NPL valuation.
The Portfolio Management Senior will work on various projects including:
* Support SRM – Get request from account management team on various subjects. Provide reporting and analytics to help them understand the portfolio they are managing and help to set strategies.
* Conduct analysis related to mortgage servicing valuation or NPL valuation. Need to be able to fully understand valuation models we use
* Support the NPL/RPL transaction – work with transaction team and interact with servicers directly to get data tape for NPL/RPL transactions. Reconcile the data between what we have internally vs. what servicer provided to make sure the tape has the highest quality before going into market.
* Understand the servicing scorecard. Be able to use scorecard database to pull data and perform analysis
* Perform adhoc analysis and run routine reports when needed

Basic Requirements
* Bachelor degree in physics, applied mathematics, economics or related quantitative discipline followed by 5+ years of experience with focus on quantitative finance, OR Master’s Degree in computer science, financial mathematics, statistics or related quantitative discipline with three years’ experience in quantitative finance.
* Strong data and financial analytical skills.
* Experience working with large data sets.
* Experience with UNIX Scripting and excellent SQL Skills.
* Good communication skills

Preferred Skills
* Master’s Degree in computer science, financial mathematics, statistics or related quantitative discipline with three years’ experience in quantitative finance.
* Knowledge of Single Family business and/or servicing.
* Demonstrated business acumen, problem solving skills, intellectual maturity, and relationship management skills
