Job DescriptionThe Marketing Coordinator is responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on physicians, community groups, and all other potential referral sources. Developing and implementing marketing plans for all services provided by the practice and reporting on the activity level and outcomes of activities on a regular basis. They are responsible for developing and overseeing the marketing strategy for future growth of the practice.Duties include but not limited too:Maintain a target list of physician practices and other possible referral sources and schedule routine visits. 20+ on site visits a weekStay current with the practice's most recent GI procedures and inform referrers and patientsMarket new doctors & locations to the field: visits, mailings, open houses.Participate in special projects and events with local hospitals, physician offices and societies/chambersWork on creating web presence through various sources and monitor web activityPlan community awareness events such as speaking opportunities & dinnersAssume responsibility for collecting &distribution of data regarding patient volume and facility utilization trackingDesign and keep updated office documents to include but not limited to: brochures, office letter head, medical letters, prep instructions, and patient education materials.Receive budget approval for marketing material and expenses through practice administratorUpdate community board in the waiting area with current events related to our groupPlan & organize employee events such as but not limited to: annual employee outing, Christmas party, happy hours and PA appreciation week.Education: Marketing DegreeExperience/Certifications: 3+ years experience MarketingCompensation: To be determinedBenefits: Personal Time off (PTO), Holiday Time off, 401K Retirement, Pension Plan and Health InsuranceJob Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally to other practices, physicians and management. Have reliable transportation and be able to conduct routine site visits to the entire NOVA territory. Ability to work independently off site and as member of the management team.
